Hikayat Merong Mahawangsa

Hikayat Merong Mahawangsa or The Kedah Annals is an ancient Malay literature that chronicles the bloodline of Merong Mahawangsa and the foundation of the Kedah, a state in Malaysia. Though there are historical accuracies, there are many incredible assertions. The era covered by the text ranged from the opening of Kedah by Merong Mahawangsa, allegedly a descendant of Alexander the Great of Macedonia till the acceptance of Islam.

Merong Mahawangsa was a Hindu and there were nine Hindu rulers before Phra Ong Mahawangsa converted to Islam in 1136 and took the name Sultan Mudzafar Shah. The annal also describes Chola's attack on Kedah.The descendants of Phra Ong Mahawangsa is still ruling Kedah able to trace their lineage from Merong Mahawangsa.

KRU Studios has completed the production of its feature film entitled "Hikayat Merong Mahawangsa", which is also internationally known as "The Malay Chronicles: Bloodlines". This epic action adventure, directed by Yusry A. Halim, is loosely based on the myth of its namesake.... and will be in cinemas in February 2011.

KD Merong Mahawangsa is a Royal Malaysian Navy vessel named in the ancient monarch's honor.

Just finished watching Hikayat Merong Mahawangsa !waww , movie terBEST ! 2011 . it was so awsome , full of  emosion and brave , lots of blood , love, romance and of course many WAR !

Stephen , who played the part of Merong Mahawangsa ,  had done a good job for his part :) . the movie had make me changed my mind about Malay history n appreciate malaya warriors who had save the " BUMI MALAYA"

Playing the hero: Stephen has been chosen for the title role in KRU Studios’ big budget action film, ‘The Chronicles of Merong Mahawangsa’.

heheheh ! I"m looking for my new peneman diri saya! ......Aku ta tau ape yg deye pkir sal aku ,but aku takesah ! emmmm, in this 2 or 3 days R , tu came in my mind , smalam bru aku nanges sbb dye . 
actually aku mengaku yang aku still syg an dye , cume... aku ta na disakiti , aku da tana igt dye daa !!
